The Globe Players Performance

On Tuesday 12 June, we were lucky enough to have the wonderful theatre company, 'The Globe Players' visit us once again at SST. They performed separate performances for our Year 7 and Year 9 students - an engaging introduction to Shakespeare called 'What You Will' for Year 7 and the famous tragedy ‘Macbeth’ for our Year 9 students to help prepare them for their GCSE English Literature studies. It was a pleasure to see our students so engaged in the performances, with a couple of our Year 7 students being given a starring role in the performance! ‘The Globe Players’ commented on what a fantastic audience our students were, and we have loved to hear the positive feedback from our students, highlighting how much they enjoyed the opportunity! We look forward to welcoming ‘The Globe Players’ back to SST in future years.
