Spotlight Concert

On Wednesday 28 June, SST was delighted to welcome 11 soloists, plus the guitar ensemble, to the second Spotlight Concert of the year. The Spotlight Concert is an opportunity for those learning instruments or singing to perform solo pieces. Students had been working very hard in their music lessons with their visiting music teachers; the wonderful Mrs Wakelin, Mr Jones, Mrs Demmel & Mrs Lauder. We enjoyed beautiful performances from every single student, with such varied styles from Disney, to Bernstien, to Alicia Keys and Pharrel Williams. The guitar ensemble rounded off a wonderful concert with ‘Stand by Me’, getting the audience involved by singing and clicking their fingers along too. Well done to all, we are very proud of you!
