Day of the Dead Workshop
With the long October holiday ahead, we were thrilled to bring forward our celebration of the Mexican Day of the Dead to Thursday this week. So many students signed up we had to double the group size to 60 students, such was the draw of decorating sugar cookie skulls with Mrs Howard and making papel picado (traditional tissue paper decorations) with Miss Orme and Miss Lovell. We were so impressed by the creativity and cultural accuracy students demonstrated before rounding the evening off with a viewing of Coco and The Book of Life. Thanks to Miss Orme and Mrs Howard for bringing such creativity to the evening and we look forward to making it an annual event.
